SoDo Seattle Walkabout

This past weekend I went to Seattle on an errand, and as you might expect, I took my camera; big surprise.  After I had taken care of business, I wandered around the Pioneer Square district and captured some images.  I didn't have a preconceived notion of what I wanted to shoot, and it was interesting to see what found its way into my lens.  Here's a sampling of what I found:

Ancient Alley

SoDo Alley No. 2

SoDo Alley No. 3

Fire Escape

Suspended

Brick Facade

Brick Facade No. 2

Washington Shoe Co. Building

King Street Station

Rusted and Peeling

Marilyn

Smith Tower / South Jackson

  2. Fabulous blog! Alleys seem to be a world unto themselves (tho you won't find me in them alone). I really like SoDo Alley #2 - love that glimmer of light.

  5. I have shot in Ancient Alley and Sodo Alley myself. That area is just great for black and white photos.
