Cait Wade is the force behind C. Wade Photography. She has a lot of fun with photographing in low-light situations; and why not? She's good at it! Check it out for yourself at her Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/pleyades.

But, strictly speaking, plugging her shop isn't the purpose of this post (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Actually, what I'd like to plug instead is her blog at http://messierobject45.blogspot.com/. She has this weekly feature called "Sepia Sunday" where she invites the submission of images of the monochromatic sepia variety (Imagine that!) to be judged by her; the winner to receive a hunk of real estate on the sidebar of her blog for a week. Very cool!
What's my interest in this? Well, if you haven't figured out by now that I'm a pretty big POE booster, then you haven't been paying attention. Aside from that, I submitted a couple of images last week and one of them was selected as the winner...Yea!
Wood Carver's Hands
Here's the rub: there were only 3 entrants, and since I plan on submitting again, I'd like to see some more competition.
So, how about it? Do you have what it takes? Do you have an image fitting the criteria that you think a lot of? Well, come on then, let's see what you've got!
Alrighty then! I'll see you Sunday!
Thanks for the heads up! BTW, your photo is very worthy of many accolades! I love the repeating patterns of the wood and hands. Nice work!

Thanks so much for the spot, Steve! I'm hoping to see a lot more participation. Sepia Sunday is a long-running feature on M45, but can definitely benefit from more photographers entering!
ReplyDeleteFor anyone considering entering this week, or upcoming weeks, here are all the details: http://messierobject45.blogspot.com/p/sepia-sunday-entry-details.html
