Worth a Look (The View From The "Big End") - Vol I Edition 15

On a regular basis I'll go wandering through the listings for the Photographers Of Etsy just because I like to look at photographs, whether or not I created them. I go to the "Big End" because I want to catch them before they expire, give them another chance at discovery if you will.  Here are just a few of the ones I found this week toward the big end of the list that I felt were worth a look.

(Note:  The "Big End" is what I call the the oldest of the POE listings. To get there, do a search on Etsy under "All Items" for "poe team".  You will get a list of somewhere around 500 listings; the "Big End" is the end of the list with the highest numbers, and these are the ones about to drop off and expire.)

Tagline Roulette - Volume I, Edition 6 - "Gold"

I have a list of words, currently numbered at 107, and each week I go to an online random number generator to get...(Wait for it!)...a randomly generated number!  I use this number to point me to the tag word that I'll use to search for images to populate that week's feature.  This week the randomly selected word is "Gold" which produced ten pages of listings to choose from...and I went a bit nuts.  Normally I'll stop at around 10 or so, but this week I kinda got stuck in a groove and ended up with 17.  I could've trimmed the list down I suppose, but then there's the problem of deciding what stays and what goes and that didn't sound like fun to me, so 17 it is.  Please take a look at this week's collection; I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

And feel free to send me your word suggestions; the list is by no means limited to 107.

Peace.

Steve

Tagline Roulette - Volume I, Edition 5 - "Pacific"

The concept is simple; from a list of words, currently numbered at 106, one word is randomly selected as the tag word I use to search for images to populate this feature.  This week the randomly selected word is "Pacific", and while the pool of listings was relatively small (46), it was large enough in quality to produce the following examples of photographic excellence.  So, please take a look at this week's collection; I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Peace.

P.S. - Oh, and feel free to send me your word suggestions; the list is by no means limited to 106.
